The Whiteaker Community Council, in partnership with Eugene Mission, White Bird, Oregon Health Authority and Lane County Public Health is putting on wellness clinics to provide free public health services, including COVID-19 vaccines, both pediatric and adult, boosters and testing for the Whiteaker.
We need volunteers to make it happen!
Volunteer roles are described below:
Set Up: You are moving tables and chairs, setting up the infrastructure to host vaccine clinics
Prep: Getting ready for our vaccine clinic by laying down tape for social distancing, setting up the intake table and orienting partner organizations and vendors
Volunteer slot I & II: You are staffing the clinic and helping to check people in and giving registrants gift cards when appropriate
Take down: Finalizing paperwork, breaking down lightweight privacy screens and such.
Social media promotion: Creating, Liking and sharing social media content for upcoming clinics. The more likes and shares content gets, the more likely it will get shared

Mission Statement
The Whiteaker Community Council has been formed to help resolve the concerns of the people in the neighborhoods of the Whiteaker Community. These concerns include, but are not limited to: land use and planning, social, recreational, educational, economic development and transportation needs; and to promote a sense of community cohesiveness and self-reliance.
Description
The Community Council also serves in an education capacity to alert the citizens of the community about current issues, of health, safety, and welfare. In addition, Whiteaker Community Council continues the planning process by periodically re-evaluating its goals, objectives, and recommendations.
