Encounter Farm is in need of large cardboard boxes to help in weed control all year round
- the bigger, the better
- broken down
- tape and address labels removed
- no pagaging material, plastic, or staples
- non shiny cardboard would be best

Description
The Encounter Farm is a life-giving farm where crops are grown to give to people in need. The farm accomplishes this through public access to the farm and fresh harvest contributions to supplement a food pantry.
Additionally, a Seed Saving Program offers sustainability by saving seeds from a portion of the farm's seasonal harvest. These seeds 1) are offered to the local community to grow their own food to help alleviate food insecurity, reduce food supply chain miles traveled, and provide a sense of confidence 2) used to reseed the next year's farm production creating a closed loop of independence.
The farm is currently equipped with a large designated vegetable plot, multiple fruit trees, and chickens with room to grow.
