This is our Annual Domestic Violence Rally Masquerade Gala. We are excited that we have had the opportunity and the pleasure to be hosted by Holiday Inn in the National Aiport/Crystal City in Washington DC. I hope you will join us this year on October 2nd, 2022, as we fundraise to help survivors and help gather together a night for survivors and gather funds for those who are struggling with human & sex trafficking plus domesticviolence in Sierra Leone West Africa.
What we need from our volunteers:
- We will have volunteers checking people in.
- Some Volunteers will be assisting with set up and break down
- Some will be assisting with Audio and visual
- Help with the stage set up
- Some will assist with speakers and company host table set up
- Another Photographer needed
- Audio / Visual needed
- Bloggers needed- to help raise funds and sponsorship
- We are also looking for a marketing specialist to help advertise and also spread awareness to all news channels. We need someone who will call all news, radio, and magazine and get the word out and also arrange interviews for the CEO.
- We are looking for someone to help with our sponsorship and aid with Assistant Advisor Coordinator find some fundraising opportunity for event.
- NO SHOW UPS ON NIGHT OF EVENT- MUST ENSURE TO TELL OUR ASSITANT ADMISTRATIVE ADVISER
This is black tie affair, all volunteers are to wear a provided mask plus a Masquerade Gala mask in and around the hotel and guests of the Masquerade Gala.
This is a significant event as we will have speakers and speak up for each survivor who has dealt with the trauma of child abuse, sexual assault, IPV, military abuse and sexual assault, mental abuse, and human & sex trafficking. We ask all volunteers to please dress appropriately for event dress and men please wear slacks, tie, and dress shirt.

We want to provide 6-month sustainability and turnaround service aid for women and children affected by IPV & DV.

How will this help our communities?
Due to the number of human trafficking, sex trafficking, and Domestic Violence in Volusia County, we need transitional homes that assist our local area county agencies. Especially our police officers, sheriff's departments, and other county agencies that will alleviate the burden in our community.
We would like to one day provide a stay in our transitional home of 6 months rather than the max of 21 days when we acquire our transitional home. This will give us time for healthy mental assessment & aid, group psychological help, and on-the-job training and parental support.
Most victims who feel supported in a life group setting or getting help from a supportive therapist, counselor, or coach are viably more independent and financially stable and are less likely to return to their abuser. And will feel safer rather than those who have no safety of financial or emotional support.
