Moving Day DC

This Fall, the Parkinson's Foundation will host its 9th annual Moving Day Chicago, A Walk for Parkinson’s event. Scheduled for Sunday, October 24th at Soldier Field - South Lot, Moving Day Chicago has as a goal of attracting an audience of 2,000+ people, and raising $350,000 to fight Parkinson’s disease! This celebration of movement will feature a family-friendly walk course and exercise classes all proven to help manage Parkinson’s symptoms.

The Parkinson's Foundation is currently recruiting volunteers to help with set-up, registration, refreshments, course, team village, clean-up etc. Volunteers will work 3, 4 or 6 hour shifts between the hours of 7:30am and 1:30pm and times will vary depending on availability and area assigned. Parking passes and a light breakfast will be provided along with a t-shirt for each volunteer. Join us for a fun morning on the Lakefront and help make a difference in lives of people living with Parkinson’s!
