Carter Healthcare is in need of caring, compassionate individuals willing to serve others facing end of life issues.
As you know, hospice offers comfort and security to our patients and their families who are often in a stressful and trying situation. If you have a few hours a month to make a difference, volunteering may be right for you. Some things our volunteers can do:
*Companionship; Sitting with Patients, reading, play games
*Cooking light meals, Baking, Running errands
*Light housekeeping, Dog walking, Lawn care
*Bereavement support, Bible Study w/patients & caregivers
*Sewing, Crocheting, Knitting, Holiday Crafts
*Manicure/Pedicure
*Bereavement phone calls
*Administrative and office needs such as: Marketing, Document Preparation, Filing, Data Entry, etc.

- Time can be flexible based on patients needs. Require at least 40 hours to be complete over a 6 month span.
