Warehouse and Receiving: This volunteer will assist in receiving the large shipments and food deliveries, sorting and packaging fresh produce and/or perishables in preparation for distribution, and loading vehicles for distribution events. Roles include repetitive motion, lifting up to 50 pound boxes, and using the warehouse equipment. This is a great role for people that enjoy physical work, have good spatial reasoning, and are comfortable using the warehouse equipment. (16+)

Our growing community-centric approach will continue to align Northfield resources in Northfield and Faribault resources in Faribault. CAC is dedicated to empowering local leaders to champion efforts in their own communities.

Description

With a focus on fresh, healthy, and culturally specific foods, our new choice model food shelf is now open in Faribault!

We strive to create an experience for our community that feels safe, abundant, and dignified. Some rely on our food shelves regularly, while others come more sporadically when needed.
