Off-site events and fundraising are very important parts of our shelter operation. There are several community events throughout the year at which volunteers are an important part. Some, but not all of these fun events are festivals, adoption events, roadblocks, fundraisers, and many more. Talents needed are organization, planning, cooperative meetings, and talking to people.
Responsibilities: Plan & attend special events; Work booths at community events; Speak to donors; Help raise donations. Run fundraising activities like bake sales and carwashes, with proceeds going to help orphaned pets.

Mission Statement
The Humane Society of Lincoln County is a non-profit 501c3 organization. Our mission is to operate the animal shelter, reduce the overpopulation of cats and dog through partnership with local vets and spay/neuter clinics, educate the population on responsible animal ownership, seek justice for animal cruelty offenders, and ensure the proper and humane treatment of all animals. Our organization is also responsible for animal control for the City of Fayetteville and Lincoln County, TN. At this time there are no government entities that exists for this need.
Description
We are a small shelter serving a rural community and rely on dontations from the community to keep our doors open. We have a small staff that works hard at providing the care needed for the over 900 animals that come through our doors yearly.
