The Public Lands Interpretive Association has partnered with the USFS to put on a National Public Lands Day Cleanup Event! We will be removing invasive plant species and trash from the forest. Afterwards, we will have a table set up that has all the materials for the participants to make "seed bombs." These "seed bombs" will contain native plant species seeds and be rolled into a ball using compost material. The participants will make these to then throw out into the forest to help promote a healthy forest ecosystem by planting native seeds. We will provide gloves, trash grabbers, and trash bags. We will have limited shovels, so feel free to bring your own shovel and your own gloves if you would like! Please bring water, hats, and sunscreen. We will have water and snacks available.
