ORGANIZATION: Vets' Community Connections

Vets' Community Connections is excited to share this Warehouse Warriors volunteer opportunity.

Your help is needed! Volunteers will be sorting, inventorying, distributing mattresses, and preparing for the next warehouse distribution. The team needs 8-10 volunteers who will directly support members of the military and their families by volunteering in the warehouse.

Just a friendly reminder, if you have not been vaccinated you are required to wear a mask or face covering, if you have already been vaccinated a mask is not required at this time.

Hand sanitizer will be available for you at several stations throughout the office and warehouse. If you have a water bottle, please bring it with you. There is a water refill station available for you to refill your bottles. Don't worry, if you don't have a water bottle, one will be provided for you. Please wear comfortable clothing and closed toed shoes. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Over the course of this pandemic many local programs have exhausted their pool of volunteers. Volunteer in the Community, in partnership with HandsOn San Diego, works to promote volunteer needs to the wider community knowing that our civilian and veteran populations welcome avenues to offer their support.

  • Must be at least 18
  • 3 hours
  • Comfortable clothing you don't mind getting dirty, dress in layers. Closed-toe shoes are required. Volunteers should be comfortable with bending, standing, and able to lift up to 20 lbs
