Join our hardworking Meals on Wheels team to pack and prepare meals for delivery to older adults and people with limited mobility in the Saint Paul area.
At the start of the pandemic, Meals on Wheels shifted to delivering frozen meals to most participants on a weekly basis. We have now evolved to providing both frozen and warm meals depending on participant preference. Volunteer packers visit the Healthy Aging and Caregiver Services site to warm hot meals and/or pack frozen meals and additional items for each participant, so participants can receive nutritious meals. After you pack them, volunteer drivers get these meals directly out into the hands of older adults who need them.
You can have a big impact! By serving as a Meals on Wheels volunteer, you support the well-being and independence of your neighbors.
