Military Working Dog Heritage Museum and Handler Center’s mission is to preserve and share America's Military Working Dog Heritage.
Because of our belief in educating the public about the history and usage of Military Working Dogs in America, we publish a free monthly newsletter filled with photos, history, and stories of the world of Military Working Dogs. We seek an individual with the following qualifications to assist us with this goal.
A successful candidate should have the following skills/traits:
Genuinely interested in writing/publishing a newsletter about the military working dog community and history.
A proven ability to use Microsoft Publisher to create each newsletter.
Wordsmith, with a compelling way of writing.
A self-starter with energy and enthusiasm who completes tasks s/he undertakes.
Possessing a truly inquisitive mind that yearns to create.
Team player who enjoys working with others and seeing others succeed and grow.
Ability to meet with the team each month via Zoom.
Our organization is founded and managed by military working dog handlers and is supported by dedicated team-members. If selected, you will have the opportunity to work with active duty and former military working dog handlers and personnel. This is a newly-formed non-profit with an exciting future.
