Schoolwork

AMP! Metro Richmond is a vibrant mentoring program in the Richmond Region where adults and youth meet weekly to share interests, learn from each other, and "amplify" their perspectives on what can be as they develop their friendship.

Originating in 2006, AMP! is a school-based mentoring program. For a variety of reasons, this school year we plan to offer both virtual and in-person options for mentoring. We are excited to get some matches meeting in person again after such a long time away from each other. We also know that virtual may be the safest and more convenient way to mentor for some folks. We hope that you will consider joining us in either capacity!

The time commitment for mentoring is always 1 hour for 1 day a week when school is in session. We do not have a mentoring day set yet, but it always occurs around lunchtime. This will include about 10 weeks during the Fall of 2021 and 15 weeks during Spring of 2022.

** MUST live in the Richmond, VA area and be 18 years or older**
