Simply Human Project is seeking an creative, self-motivated web developer to perform a complete redesign of our website. We got hacked with the ransomware attack last June and have been without a website since August 2021 and email since November 2021, why they picked our tiny little org to attack is beyond us, but it caused us a considerable amount of monetary loss, stress and disruption, putting our organization's mission and plans back by almost a year. Who hacks a tiny self funded nonprofit that helps homeless people!!!
We finally changed hosts and are looking for someone to help us by creating an engaging site with better content than we can write ourselves.
This can be a one-time volunteer build-out or an ongoing volunteer position reporting to our Board of Directors.

Description
Simply Human Project is a human services advocate agency providing support to unsheltered adults, families and unaccompanied children and teens. Our organization is working to empower disadvantaged persons through an Active Effort model where individual's are responsible for their own personal recovery from homelessness. Our services are encompassing and include education, training, job opportunities, housing and referral support services to provide all persons the ability to be fully self-sustaining. Our goals in 2022 and 2023 are to provide emergency and transitional housing to vulnerable children who are at risk of abuse and to launch various homeless to work programs giving those without hope the opportunity to acquire the skills needed to acquire living wage jobs.
