Awareness Team members help spread the word about SOUL in the community, searching for more supporters. This can be done from anywhere, via phone calls and emails.
- Contact Charleston area churches in an effort to find churches willing to host SOUL info tables after a service or event.
- Contact Charleston area ministry/mission-minded groups to see if they would like to have a SOUL representative present to their group.
- Search for Charleston area church/community fairs where SOUL could set up an info table.
- Help spread the word about SOUL via sharing social media posts and/or doing a facebook fundraiser.
- Seeking out Charleston area media coverage for upcoming events and/or to share about SOUL services. (Any actual media communications will be completed by SOUL staff.)
- Other awareness/outreach efforts as needed.

SOUL endeavors to create a safe haven that provides emotional support and spiritual encouragement as well as life management counseling, career skills, and financial assistance for expectant mothers.
Description
SOUL provides support, mentoring, and housing assistance for pregnant women and new moms in the South Carolina Lowcountry.
We are a faith-based ministry, empowering pregnant women with what they need to keep their child.
SOUL believes in the continued support of mothers through ongoing friendship. While working toward our goals of maternity housing and a tea room, SOUL provides:
SOUL Sisters
Faith-based Peer Support Group
We also give baby showers for pregnant members.
Housing/Rental Assistance
For single pregnant women at risk of homelessness.
Currently in the form of rent and utility subsidies.
Mentoring and Classes
Faith and Research-informed Curricula:
