Hello!
We are always in need of volunteers to help distribute food to local residents at the La Puente Outreach Food Pantry!
This is a drive through service and we provide a contactless food distribution. Cars line up and drive up to our distribution area. They open their trunk and remain in the car with their windows up. We load the food into their trunk and send them on their way!
Prior to distribution, we unload food from delivery trucks and put loose food items into bags.
We have fun working together, listening to music, and working hard. This is a great way to give back to the community and feel a sense of pride.
We also welcome businesses to sponsor a day with donations or providing their employees to volunteer.
No experience needed. We adhere to all local CDC guidelines and require volunteers to wear a mask, gloves. Don’t be shy, come on over and we will help you jump right in!

We have been serving our local residents for over 17 years through generous donations from the community, local businesses and city leaders. We are recognized by Supervisor Hilda Solis, Assemblymember Lisa Calderon and the Mayors of La Puente and City of Industry.
