ORGANIZATION: CASA CHIRILAGUA

When: Thursdays 5-6:30pm

Commitment: One day per week for 2 hours; 1 or 2 semesters

Location: Casa Chirilagua Community Center 4109 Mount Vernon Ave Alexandria VA 22305

Responsibilities: With a team, build relationships with our high school and middle school students, prepare, and facilitate small group study and discussion for spiritual growth.

ADDITIONAL INFO:
Being bilingual is a plus but not necessary.

As most of our volunteer opportunities is with children, we require all volunteers to submit a volunteer application with references, complete a background check, participate in child safety training, and program training. All these efforts are to keep our children safe. As a faith-based not-for-profit, we openly offer Christian education at our programs. It is not a requirement to subscribe to a certain faith to volunteer, but we do suggest only those comfortable with open Christian teaching to volunteer.
