Keep North Charleston Beautiful is looking for proofreaders to help us review documents for any needed edits or suggested changes.

Here’s how it works:

1- When you sign up for this opportunity, you will receive an email from Volunteer Match with a link to our volunteer form. Please complete this form at your earliest convenience and send it back to us.

2- Once we receive your volunteer form, you will be added to an email list of proofreaders.

3- When we have a document ready to be proofread, we will send it out to the email list.

4- If you are available, you will review that document and send back any suggestions.

The time commitment for this opportunity varies. Occasionally, we will go several weeks without needing any documents proofread. If we are in the middle of a new program launch, we may send several documents in one day or one week. When we send these documents, we will let you know the timeline for sending in any changes. You are NEVER obligated to proofread a document for us. If your schedule doesn’t allow you to look over a document we have sent, it’s no problem. Just respond when you are able. If you ever want to be removed from the proofreading list, simply reply to an email with "Unsubscribe" and we will update our list.
