Art in the Park, a fine and folk arts festival, takes place each September in Springfield's beautiful J. Travis Price Park. Free to the public, it boasts more than 30 artisan vendors, fun art activities for children and adults, musical performances throughout the day, and food trucks.

Mission Statement
Willow Oak Center for Arts & Learning promotes cultural development, global awareness, and the well-being of the individual and community by providing quality instruction and opportunities for growth and discovery in the performing, visual, folk, and expressive arts for children, youth, and adults. Willow Oak serves approximately 14,000 children, youth, and adults each year in our onsite and outreach programs. Our long range goal is to acquire acreage for a campus to include a performing arts center, art gallery, pottery barn, class rooms, rehearsal space, and garden.
Description
Willow Oak Center for Arts & Learning offers classes in the arts and humanities in downtown historic Springfield, TN. Children and adults participate in art, calligraphy, photography, acting, creative writing, cooking, knitting, quilting, essential oils, art and sewing camps, and children’s and adult choirs. An additional 13,000 people are served through our concerts, Multicultural Arts Festival, Art in the Park and other community outreach programs. Willow Oak’s Chorale has performed at Carnegie Hall on two occasions working with world-renowned conductors.
