Bridgeport Caribe Youth Leaders (BCYL) is recruiting In-school volunteer tutors for students Kindergarten to 8th Grade. The focus is Reading and Math. Volunteers are needed for 1.5 to 2 hours once a week, to support students with their classwork during school hours. Tutoring may be individually or in a small groups of 2 or 3 students. Volunteers are needed for all Bridgeport elementary schools. Spanish speakers are needed. The tutor and teacher will coordinate a schedule convenient for both. There is a simple application process, which can be started by contacting BCYL at 203-913-0073.

Bridgeport Caribe Youth Leaders (BCYL) affectionately known as Caribe, established in 2003 is a grassroots youth development organization serving nearly 700 youth yearly from ages 5 to 15 via enrichment programs and activities under our sports, Education and Community platforms.
