If you have a few hours a week to spare and can offer guidance, encouragement, and consistancy to disadvantaged youth, this is for you. The center provides a safe place for youth to spend their time surrounded by responsible caring adults. we offer basketball, pool, foosball, and number of workshops and groups. Our goal is to give the youth skills they can carry with them into adulthood.
Days/hours are as follows:
Tuesday 6-9
Wednesday 6-9
Thursday 6-9
A minimum of one shift per week is required

KIDSAFE CT partners with the community to educate and empower families and promote the well-being of young people.
Description
Since 1981, KIDSAFE CT has worked for the Prevention and Treatment of Child Abuse and Neglect. The organization is a private non-profit agency funded by Connecticut area Exchange Clubs, private donors, and the Connecticut Department of Children and Families. It is part of a network of centers established by the National Exchange Club Foundation for the Prevention of Child Abuse .
Target Population Served
Our target population includes families at risk of abuse and/or neglect of their children and families already experiencing problems of abuse and/or neglect. Families of all ethnic origins and income levels are involved.
