Interested in learning more about your local history? Currently there is an opportunity to support the Redmond Historical Society as the Vice President, Collections.

This volunteer role requires participation in the Executive Committee and Board of Directors, and acts as chair of the Collections Committee with staff support.


Redmond Historical Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit with a working board.

  • Grant writing and project management experience is a plus
  • Leadership and Non-profit Board Experience beneficial
  • Experience with museums or historical organizations beneficial
  • Interest or experience in Oral History or other active preservation projects helpful
  • Skills with PastPerfect Museum Software preferred, but limited training can be provided
  • Some of this work can be done away from our office, though participation in in-office projects is encouraged!
