Novant Health Hospice is seeking volunteers with a current barber or cosmetology license to visit patient homes to provide haircuts for our patients.
Everyone knows how much better you feel after getting any kind of personal care/cosmetic service - especially a fresh haircut. Our hospice patients feel the same way!
At Novant Health Hospice, we know that managing a patient's comfort isn't the only component to End of Life care. We want our patients to look and feel their best for as long as they can!
Many of our patients are also unable to leave the home, so activities such as a haircut or nail trim can often be too difficult.
If you have a current barber or cosmetology license and are interested in spending some of your spare time helping patients look and feel their best, apply today!

Our hospice care specialists provide care for terminally ill patients and their families. We know how sensitive these times may be, and our goal is to provide patients and their families with effective healthcare that will improve the quality of a patient’s last days.
We provide an individualized treatment plan to comfortably manage pain and physical symptoms of each need a patient may have. Our team is made of doctors, nurses, medical social workers, chaplains, grief counselors, and volunteers that work together to help patients live life as comfortably and fulfilled as possible.
