Making A Difference Foundation/Eloise Cooking Pot Food Bank

Food insecurity is at an all time high after Covid-19, we are continuing to support the community with offering access to the food bank 5 days a week (Tues-Sat), we also offer weekly home delivery to support our clients that are home bound. We have 3 different roles to be done at the food bank:

1. Food bank: Here you are most likely to interact with clients by helping get the food bank stocked and organized and assist clients with picking out their food.

2. Delivery Driving: In order to deliver to all 600+ clients we need assistance from volunteers to drive a route of deliveries. This would mean loading up 2 types of boxes (1 produce and 1 dry goods) that you would deliver to client's doors. This is a great job to do with a friend, kids, or a partner.

3. Warehouse: Come down to our warehouse space to package our dry good boxes that get delivered each week, or make bags of snacks and hygiene products that we deliver twice a week to those experiencing homelessness.

Mission Statement

Making a Difference Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, whose mission is to make a difference in the lives of others everyday. We believe that every person has the capacity to serve and make a difference in a person's life. Inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., " Everybody can be great, because everybody can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve. You don't have to know about Plato and Aristotle to serve. You don't have to know Einstein's "Theory of Relativity" to serve. You don't have to know the Second Theory of Thermal Dynamics in Physics to serve. You only need a heart full of grace, a soul generated by love, and you can be that servant." We make a difference through: Providing Scholarships; Providing Housing; Providing Gifts of Encouragement; Providing Food; and Performing missionary work throughout the world
