ORGANIZATION: WISH OF A LIFETIME

Wish of a Lifetime is currently looking for a select group of passionate volunteers to take leadership in Wish of a Lifetime’s 2021 initiatives and beyond. This position will connect with Wish of a Lifetime staff on a regular and as-needed basis and will be empowered to recruit, organize, train, and support their own network of volunteers. Volunteer Leads may opt in to work with a specific volunteer opportunity or to support volunteers in other opportunities. Volunteer leads can anticipate guidance, training and mutual support from Wish of a Lifetime staff and will be asked to make a multi-year commitment.

Description

Wish of a Lifetime from AARP was founded in 2008 in Denver, Colorado by athlete and entrepreneur Jeremy Bloom. In August 2020, Wish of a Lifetime joined forces with AARP to become one of its charitable affiliates. To date, Wish of a Lifetime has granted over 2,000 wishes to individuals 65 and older.

  • Enough technology skills to email, organize, and effectively access AARP’s volunteer portal Friendly and patient communication skills to support and problem solve with volunteers Deep understanding and appreciation for Wish of a Lifetime’s mission
