You can be a hospice volunteer and experience the joy and satisfaction of making a difference in the life of someone with a life-limiting illness. Anyone with a caring heart and a little time to share can become a hospice volunteer. Caris Healthcare offer multiple types of volunteer services such as Patient-Care, Administrative, Veteran, and Special Project volunteers.
We take a wide range of volunteers like Student/Interns or Retired Individuals, and there is no experience necessary. The training is paid for and all equipment will be provided.

With a vision of being your world class hospice, Caris Healthcare was founded in 2003 by Norman McRae, a hospice Chaplin with a record of progressive accomplishment in hospice and elder care. The Caris Healthcare Mission is to provide Hospice Care with Grace; the name Caris comes from the Greek word for grace. There are hundreds of quality volunteer programs opportunities in every community. Few of them compare to the sheer joy you feel, the impact you can have, and the personal growth you experience when you become a hospice volunteer at Caris Healthcare. Please don't let the "Hospice" scare you. Caris volunteers enter the lives of hospice patients and their loved ones at one of the most important time in anyone's life.

We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities: Patient Care Volunteers, Administrative Volunteers, Special Project and Event Volunteers, and we honor Veterans.
