Join the team at our Teen Crisis and Runaway Shelter and make a difference in the lives of Milwaukee youth!

Walker's Point Youth & Family Center is in need of motivated, caring, and team-oriented volunteers and interns to serve as Youth & Family Specialist Assistants at our emergency youth shelter. Our mission: to meet the needs of runaway, homeless, and other troubled youth and their families from Milwaukee's diverse communities by providing services to empower youth, help them resolve personal and family problems, strengthen family relationships, and support safe and stable homes.

Many options for volunteer/intern scheduling are available (weekdays, weekends, or evenings) with a minimum commitment of one 4-5 hour shift per week for the duration of the volunteer season. Summer 2024 volunteer season runs 5/27/24 through 8/30/2024.
