Development Intern

JOIN Israel is seeking a well-organized and responsible Development Intern (unpaid) to assist the Director of Development and Executive Director. Applications are now open for the Fall 2021 Semester. Must be in enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.

This internship is part time (10-15 hours per week) and is remote, but the intern must live in the Tri-State area.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Content creation including newsletters, presentations, blog posts and articles
• Assist with event planning including research and securing sponsorships
• Conduct research on prospective donors and grant opportunities
• Outreach to community partners, prospects and existing donors
• Providing general administrative support to Director of Development

Experience and Qualifications

• A commitment to helping the people of Israel and the larger Jewish community
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work both independently and with a team
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Mail Chimp and Canva is a plus
