As we enter the new year, join Red Cross Team Members in a virtual session to learn how your skills and talents can help others in the community. In-person and virtual volunteer opportunities are available.
Volunteers are critically needed in areas like:
- Disaster Response
- Community Preparedness
- Blood Drives
- Service to the Armed Forces

Safety First! Our need for volunteers is constant and our guidelines reflect the latest CDC safety recommendations and follow the national and local government laws. COVID-19 vaccination will be required for in-person volunteer roles beginning January 3, 2022.Vaccines are not required for virtual volunteer opportunities.

- The information session will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams and will be one hour. Time commitment for Red Cross volunteering varies based on the selected role.
- To volunteer with the Red Cross of Greater Carolinas, potential volunteers must be at least 18 years old and reside in either North or South Carolina.
