Work one-on-one with a child one hour, twice a week, and change their trajectory! With your support, that child will be able to start school in the fall a confident learner.
No education experience needed. General knowledge/understanding of learning and attention challenges (ADHD, dyslexia) is preferred. We offer training online (4 hours) and 1 hour in-person.
You choose the days and times you would like to volunteer. We are open M-Th 9 am - 6 pm over the summer. We are located off the Collierville Town Square.
Will sign off on service hours for college/grad students or high schoolers.

Our vision is fostering lifelong literacy throughout the Mid-South, and we work to do that in three ways: communication and culture classes for English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL); family literacy events and information; and structured reading intervention for 4th-8th grade, to help them find the confidence and knowledge to improve reading and successfully stay and complete high school.
