Be a friendly face in our Memory Care unit as you help with group social activities. Some of our programs include birthday parties, Bingo, Fancy Fingers (manicures), Baking, and Ice Cream Socials. You’ll have the opportunity to develop friendships and hear our residents’ unique life stories. This would be a good match for someone with an interest in or experience working with people who have dementia. Days and times vary with each activity.
For more information, please contact Melanie at mjagolino@lyngblomsten.org and fill out an application here: https://www.volgistics.com/ex/portal.dll/ap?ap=1017929195. New volunteers will review virtual orientation materials and undergo a background screen. We also require volunteers to be vaccinated for COVID and to wear a facemask while inside the facility.
