Senior Community Services relies on volunteers. Help us help more older adults! Last year, thousands of amazing volunteers came together to assist older adults and support their caregivers. Join us! We cover all of Suburban Hennepin County and Minneapolis, and parts of Wright County. Our volunteers help seniors stay safe in their homes.

This is also great way for families or others small groups who have been staying safe at home together to volunteer. Kids 7 and up are welcome to volunteer with an adult.

Help seniors in your community. Let us know where you would like to volunteer! We cover almost all of Suburban Hennepin County and Minneapolis. We are also looking for volunteers in Wright County within the cities of Albertville, Buffalo, Hanover, Monticello, and St. Michael.

We need people to help with home maintenance. If you’re handy, join us as a handyperson! Use your tools and skills in carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, and more to help seniors maintain their homes.

We are also looking for Mowers and Snow Shovelers. Get outside to volunteer! These are recurring commitments that are great for building relationships in your community. Step out during your lunch break to help a senior.

Volunteers are also needed for one-time, outside projects. Projects include weeding a garden, painting a fence, and more!

Do you prefer an office environment? Join us in our Minnetonka office as an Administrative Assistant! Help Senior Community Services staff with tasks like mailings, data entry, directing phone calls and more.
