Dr. Barbara Seniors Harkins Foundation

We are seeking dynamic and energetic individuals (Actors) to assist in helping with our Once-A-Month, In-Person, Acting Class. (Classes start in September)

As a Teaching Assistant, you will serve a critical role in our ability to deliver programs to the children in our community. Working with our Acting Teacher, you will gain hands-on experience with students in our after-school Acting Program. Teaching Assistants are expected to help create an environment that encourages in children creative thinking, verbal communication, independent exploration, self-confidence, self-awareness, and a problem-solving approach to conflict. We also would love for you to help sign-in our young Actors, help them with their monologues, and assist the Acting Teacher during the workshop.

We meet once a month on a Saturday from 10:00am-12:00pm or 1:00pm-3:00pm

Qualified candidates will be punctual, reliable, personable, organized and fun. The right candidate will love, understand, nurture, support, and accept all children.

If interested, please email us at: info@barbaraseniorsharkinsfoundation.org
