ORGANIZATION: SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA GOLDEN RETRIEVER RESCUE

This position has a technical understanding of WordPress, the world of plug-ins, templates and customizations and works with the SCGRR Web Manager to provide the expertise to implement changes to the website. The WordPress Administrator will collaborate with vendors and/or contracts when needed.

Skills required are prior technical experience with WordPress. A plus would include SiteGround WebHosting and the knowledge of how to architect and deploy changes from a staging environment to production.

Requires commitment of an estimated 5-10 hours / wk.

Reporting is to the SCGRR Web Manager.

Our mission is to rescue homeless Golden Retrievers, Golden mixes, and like breeds in Southern California from situations of abuse and neglect regardless of conditions or circumstances.

Description

Southern California Golden Retriever Rescue is the third largest Golden Retriever Rescue in the country and second-largest in the Western Region. Our dogs are placed in foster homes, temperament tested, socialized, and vetted prior to adoption. Our goal is to find the perfect home for each individual dog with the help of their personal representative.
