Have A Loving Heart??? Donate an hour or two of your time and gain a lifetime of fulfillment!!

Make a difference in the life of someone who would appreciate just your presence alone. Hospice Volunteers needed to provide companionship and socialization to patients. Spend time, just being a friend and.....

  • Share memories
  • Sing songs
  • Say a Prayer
  • Simply talking

Provide grief support

  • Making phone calls
  • S ending cards

Volunteer visits (most are now done either by zoom or on the phone) offer patients companionship, boost their self-esteem and decrease loneliness.

Companion volunteering brings a great sense of fulfillment to our volunteers and m ak es our patients SMILE. You can be that pivotal mark in someone's day that makes all the difference when being faced with some of the most difficult situatio n s. Simply sharing a story may seem so minimal to y o u, but sharing that same story with a hospice patient may be jus t the laugh they needed when all else seemed dim.

Volunteering for Transitions Hospice is a flexible opportunity where you can visit your patient at a time and day th a t is convenient for you. Please contact me wi t h any questions.

Thank you for your interest and I look forward to meeting you!
