Attention needed to our elders and those with chronic disease nearing the end of life. You will provide a valuable service in listening, sharing, and learning about those you visit. Become part of their shared world. Notice their value and the great contributions of their lives. You can read, talk, play music, sing, hold hands. The world of a visit volunteer with hospice is enriching and full of life. Each day matters. You can be part of an important connection.
Visits usually take place 2-4 times a month at a time that works for you and our hospice patient. Volunteering does require a background check and some training.
