Licensed RNs, LVNs, and EMTs needed to assist with patient triage at the 2021 California CareForce Chico Clinic!

California CareForce promotes the health and well-being of those in need through volunteer supported, no-cost healthcare clinics across California.

Since 2011, we have provided critical care worth $15+ million to over 36,500 patients thanks to 17,500+ professional and general volunteers. 85% of our patients are uninsured or under-insured and among the most vulnerable populations in California. We do not have any restrictions on who can receive our services based on insurance, income, employment, residency, or immigration status because our volunteers believe that everyone deserves basic healthcare.

Patient Triage will take medical histories of, and provide blood pressure testing and glucose screenings for, about 600 patients throughout the clinic day. Their primary role is to stabilize patients to ensure they can receive medical, dental, and vision services. Volunteers will be expected to serve the full day. Lunch is provided. Our plug-and-play environment, complete will all the equipment and supplies you'll need, makes volunteering easy.
