PROJECT MANAGER
In collaboration with the Projects Director and relevant Board Members, the Project Manager will manage the SEE for the Earth project that supports the organization’s mission. The Project Manager leads a team of volunteers to achieve project directives in an unstructured environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Execution: Lead all aspects of project execution including scope, schedule and budget; ensure quality control of deliverables; analyze and communicate project status, risks, schedule, and costs to stakeholders; plan, organize, and coordinate with organization manager on project volunteer needs.
- Leadership: Mentor and train less experienced volunteers; coordinate activities.
- Volunteer Engagement: support company initiatives; participate in volunteer/staff recognition programs and special events.
TIME COMMITMENT
- One (1) year commitment (3 years preferred)
- At least five (5) hours per week
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- Work or volunteer experience related to managing projects in environmental engineering or similar industry.
- Experience in hardware/software integrations.
- Experience leading teams.
- Knowledge of project management.

This opportunity is restricted to those who live within the Phoenix Metropolitan area.

Provide community outreach and engagement coordination to enhance our visibility and support our mission.
We are seeking a Community Outreach Coordinator for our SEE for the Earth Project which aims to spread awareness of ethical engineering practices, environmental justice, and social justice to middle school students.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in education, specifically primary at the middle school level.
- Ability to connect with local middle schools in the Phoenix and New York City area.
- Proven public speaking skills and project management experience.
- Ability to connect with others, network, and grow interest in project.
TIME COMMITMENT
- 5 to 10 hours per week generally.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in non-profit management, marketing, public management, or similar field
Work or volunteer experience: 2+ years work or volunteer experience related to community outreach/engagement in a non-profit or similar organization.
MEMBER BASED ORGANIZATION
We are a member-based volunteer organization that collects monthly or annual dues which in turn helps support our cause.
