Pro-Bone-O Veterinary Clinic Volunteers

  • Client Intake Volunteers : Greet clients and gather client and pet information. Intake volunteers also assist with filling out rabies certificates, filing client records, and other administrative duties.
  • Food Distribution Volunteers: Hand out pet food.
  • Boutique Volunteers : Hand out toys, clothes, leashes & collars, pillows and other pet supplies.
  • Medical Volunteers : Assist volunteer veterinarians with medical examinations, paperwork and discharge duties. Some experience required.
  • Organizing Volunteers: We need help keeping our clinic space clean and organized. If you are a neat freak, please help us organize donations.

Description

Pro-Bone-O is Lane County’s only non-profit solely dedicated to providing free veterinary services, food, and supplies for the pets of people who are homeless in our community. We operate two free clinics per month in a space generously provided by the Eugene Mission, located at 1542 West 1st Avenue. Each volunteer-run clinic provides medical exams, vaccinations, flea treatments, nail trims, food and referrals to spay/neuter for our community’s most deserving pets.
