Knox Pride is looking for blog writers! As a writer, you will:
- Create written blog content that helps communicate our brand messaging
- Write articles, social content, and create briefs as assigned
- Brainstorm with the committee and content strategist on new content
- Conduct periodic interviews with community members to write content
- Engage in guest blogging for marketing purposes
Requirements:
- Must have experience with writing, content strategy
- Writing for marketing/advertising is a plus
- Able to operate independently, meet deadlines, and self-edit content prior to reviews
- Must be comfortable conducting interviews with community members

Remote positions with Knox Pride do not require in-person meetings. Most teams utilize a combination of Slack and Zoom to connect with team members, and local face-to-face meetings are available upon request.

Knox Pride is an LGBTQ+ organization that seeks a united future for community members and allies in Knoxville, Tennessee that want to fit in, be equal, and involved in a time of growth and peace. We envision ourselves to unite, respect, and grow towards a better mindset for all. To do this, we work as a team of wonderful board members and committee volunteers.
