West Place Animal Sanctuary is a forever home for abused, neglected, and abandoned farm animals. We also rehabilitate wildlife and are a temporary holding facility for lost dogs in Tiverton and Little Compton. West Place does a lot to help the community, but we can't do it all ourselves! We need help from dedicated volunteers who believe in our mission. We are in need of volunteers to help in many different ways around our sanctuary:
Our greenhouses are growing all sorts of fruits and veggies! We need someone who would be able to come each morning and harvest our food for the animals. Throughout the season, you will be harvesting berries from our berry garden, peaches, pears, and apples from our orchard, tomatoes, lettuce, pumpkin and squash, potatoes, and more! If you love tending to fresh gardens and helping our animals get the best food possible, this position is perfect for you.
