We abide by CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19; social distancing, wiping all flat surfaces, door handles and individually packaging items for sale. Face masks are available, shields are placed at registers, and a/c filters are changed frequently, and air is circulated.

Looking for friendly people to volunteer at our museum in 4-hour shifts. Positions currently open are Cashier in our Gift Shop or General Store, Docents in the Museum Gallery, Elvis Chapel, and Apacheland Movie Ranch Barn, or engage with visitors in our 1800's era western town. Dress in period clothing encouraged, but not required. We also welcome train enthusiast volunteers to assist with our G-scale Model Train Exhibit depicting the history of railroad in Arizona. Learn about operating a 20-Stamp Ore Mill or become one of our knowledgeable Greeters who welcome our visitors to the museum and answer all kinds of questions. If you enjoy physical work, we have opportunities with the Grounds Crew who help set-up small tents, tables and chairs for our Special Events and Artisan/Craft Shows. No experience is necessary, training for all positions will be provided. We are a non-profit 501 c3 organization dedicated to preserving the history, legends and lore of the Superstition Mountains. We welcome winter-visitor volunteers.
