Community Awareness ands Engagement VISTA
The Community Engagement VISTA helps recruit, train, schedule and recognize volunteers while growing the volunteer base at Catholic Charities and advancing individual and group partnerships.
Using social media strategies, the VISTA will recruit volunteers and promote the services of Catholic Charities. By cultivating a robust social media network, CCAN would be better able to provide reach more individuals and families in need, promote Catholic Charities services and recruit group and individual volunteers.
Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark is one of the largest and oldest social service agency in New Jersey. CCAN serves more than 62,000 people individuals annually across 87 programs in a four county area.
Catholic Charities recognizes the inherent dignity and worth of all people and, responding with quality services and compassion, meets the corporeal needs of the poor.
