The Delaware Alliance Against Sexual Violence is currently recruiting for new Board Members. DAASV is Delaware's statewide coalition that addresses sexual violence and sexual assault. DAASV is a fairly new organization funded by the Office on Violence Against Women.

The DAASV Board of Directors meet bi-monthly, on the third Thursday of the month from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm. Currently, Board Meetings are held virtually. Board Members are expected to serve on at least one sub-committee of the BOD.

The mission of the Delaware Alliance Against Sexual Violence is to address sexual violence in Delaware by creating an inclusive community that supports survivors through advocacy, intervention and awareness.

Description

The Delaware Alliance Against Sexual Violence received its 501 c 3 IRS designation in August 2019. DAASV was recognized as the federally funded statewide coalition for Delaware for survivors of sexual violence effective September 1, 2020. DAASV currently is funded by the Office on Violence Against Women.
