CALLING ALL SPANISH SPEAKERS!
We are in need of Spanish speaking volunteers that would like to visit with our hospice patients at their homes or at the facilities which they reside.
Duties May Include:
- Reading
- Watching TV/Movies
- Working Puzzles
- Just talking with Patients
Visits may be short but are so meaningful to the patients as well as the family members.

MAKE A REAL DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF PATIENTS!!!
Volunteers are an integral part of the AccentCare (formerly Texas Home Health Hospice) team, providing compassion and care when it is needed most. As the heart and hands of the hospice team, they provide a special kind of caring to patients, families, and staff through helping to make the hospice experience manageable and rewarding.
Men, women, and young people of all ages and backgrounds can volunteer in a variety of roles.
Volunteer as:
- Patient/Family Care Volunteer
- Office/Administrative Volunteer
- Pet Therapy Volunteer
- Bereavement Volunteer
- Veteran Volunteer
- Reiki Volunteer
- Music Therapy Volunteer
ALL POTENTIAL VOLUNTEERS MUST SUBMIT AN APPLICATION. *** ALL POTENTIAL VOLUNTEERS MUST UNDERGO A BACKGROUND CHECK, TAKE A TB TEST, DRUG TESTING AND ORIENTATION/TRAINING PRIOR TO START***
