On November 11th, 2023 the neighbors of Sterling Park will gather for the autumn quarterly clean-up of the community, and we need your help!
The group assembles at 8:45am at Briar Patch park to divide and conquer the clean up of the Sterling Boulevard and surrounding areas. Safety vests, trash pickers and VDOT trash bags are provided to volunteers. Afterwards the group generally meets at a local restaurant to socialize.
Groups are welcome! Accompanied kiddos are welcome.

Description
The Sterling Foundation’s mission for over 35 years has been to strengthen the Sterling community through environmental, educational, cultural and recreational opportunities. Our dedicated focus has been to raise the funds that will keep the four mile stretch of Sterling Boulevard mowed, maintained and beautiful. In addition to the mowings, we host quarterly trash pick-ups along the boulevard, annual stream cleanups, seasonal tree pruning's, native flower plantings and regular garden maintenance. Every October, we sponsor SterlingFest, which brings everyone together, filling the streets of Sterling with people, music, booths, games, food and more. The proceeds help to fund our initiatives throughout the year as we continue our work for Sterling.
