The Garden Manager will work closely with the Directors and Garden Intern at Fit and Food. Garden Manager will help with upkeep of the garden and getting harvest to the pantry. Manager will assist with any matter related to the garden and usage of the space.
- Work in the garden located at 4846 St. Louis Ave with Garden Intern, volunteers, and other staff
- Continue education opportunities on urban farming
- Coordinate harvest days with food assistance team for pantry
- Clean, water, harvest, weed garden at least 2x a week
- Virtual and in-person meetings at our Clayton office
- Administrative tasks to be assigned
- Background in MPH, social work, urban agriculture, farming, environmental, food justice
- Able to work in a garden and do garden work
- Able to work in office and virtual
- 10 hours minimum
- Work weekends and Evening
- Flexible schedule
- Able to use computer, internet
- Have reliable transportation and insurance
- Commitment 1 year
