Essential Job Functions: Schedule appointments for Social Service staff Answer basic questions regarding Social Services, governmental programs, and resources Make reminder phone calls  Other clerical duties as assigned Consistent attendance at weekly four hours shift. Accurately track hours in My Senior Center

Qualifications: Confidence using a computer o Familiarly with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Comfortable using a phone, copier, and fax machine Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills  Comfortable sitting and standing Awareness of HIPPA rules  Signed confidentiality statement  Completed background check Bicultural/ Bilingual preferred

Training: Orientation with Volunteer and Program Coordinator Receive Volunteer Handbook Initial training with Social Services Manager Shadow an existing volunteer Ongoing meetings with Social Services Associates and Staff
