We are seeking volunteers skilled in housekeeping, lawn care, and cleaning to assist in the upkeep of our foundation center in Accord, New York.
It is essential that the foundation center be maintained, cleaned and manicured as our ongoing programs for children of mixed abilities, the elderly, and veterans returning from service will be running from the facility. Volunteers willing to contribute their time and skills to the maintenance of the property will be greatly appreciated.
We are ideally looking for volunteers to assist with bi-monthly lawn care such as grass mowing in the warmer months and snow removal in the colder months. We are also ideally seeking volunteers to assist with bi-weekly housekeeping to keep the interior of the property clean, organized, and sanitized.
If the volunteers are skilled in minor repair or handyman work which they could assist with at the property, this would be a bonus, though this is not required.
Aside from an ongoing schedule, we would invite volunteers to assist us more regularly during our Children’s Enrichment Camps, Golden Years Program, and other times of the year when we will need additional support in terms of cleaning and sanitizing due to increased usage of the space.

Description
The DeVito Watson Foundation is a Private Operating Foundation committed to a legacy of goodness, wellness and inspiration.
We are a family foundation which supports hospitals, arts institutions, schools, research programs, prevention initiatives, and other organizations that align with our mission.
As a Private Operating Foundation, the DeVito Watson Foundation implements and orchestrates it’s own programs. Programs offered by the DeVito Watson Foundation are free of charge to all participants. The foundation receives no government grants and relies solely on the donations of generous benefactors such as the organization’s founders, relatives and associates. In addition, the foundation is unique in that there are zero directors and staff members on salary, and all operations are performed exclusively through volunteerism.
We are actively seeking volunteers to assist us with the following programs:
* Enrichment Program for Children of All Abilities
* Veterans Support Program
* Golden Years Program
In addition, we are actively seeking fundraisers to volunteer in assisting us to raise capital for the above programs as well as our annual scholarships.

REQUIREMENTS
- We would ideally be seeking volunteers who could commit to a minimum of one lawn care or housekeeping session per month, although bi-weekly sessions are the goal. We would appreciate any time commitment however that volunteers can give.
