Do you enjoy cooking and bringing a smile to a neighbor’s face? Sign up to prepare and deliver meals to Bailey’s Shelter and Supportive Housing once a month!

Support your unhoused neighbors by providing a meal at our shelters. This is a great opportunity for individuals, church groups, organizations, or groups of friends! You can either drop off the meal at the shelter - no entry required - or stay and serve it with a small group out of our kitchen!

Bailey’s Shelter and Supportive Housing is a 52-bed emergency shelter (as well as a permanent supportive housing program) for homeless adults. Guests at the shelter truly appreciate home cooked meals as they work with case managers to transition out of homelessness. You will share hope and happiness with guests through a universal language - food!

So, what are you signing up for?

• Preparing and delivering a meal for 30-50 guests once a month
• Creating a sense of community for guests
• Learning more about homelessness in our community and how you can help end it

Still interested? Great! The next step is to fill out a New Hope Housing volunteer application (found here: http://bit.ly/NHHVolApp) and to attend a one-hour volunteer orientation. Orientations are held virtually twice a month, so you can find a time that fits your schedule and attend from home!

This is a flexible opportunity for volunteers, as well as perfect for groups!
