Kid's Bagged Lunches -- help us serve our youngest friends!
Can you help us provide bagged lunches for our youngest neighbors?
Each Thursday, Safe Haven serves around 200 individuals and families breakfast and lunch in our community. You are needed to provide well-balanced, fuel-filled bagged lunches for the children served at Safe Haven's day program. Safe Haven requests that lunches include: a PB&J sandwich, juice, a variety of shelf-stable snacks, and fresh fruit.
Volunteers of all ages and lunch-making expertise welcome! This is a great opportunity to give back during this difficult time, even from home!
Drop-offs are on Thursday mornings between 9 and 10 AM at Bailey's Shelter & Supportive Housing (5914 Seminary Road, Falls Church, VA 22041).
Sound like a good fit? The next step is to fill out a New Hope Housing volunteer application (found here: http://bit.ly/NHHVolApp). Please refrain from purchasing supplies until you are scheduled!
